Level-independent hearing protector with sound amplification, which enables conversation and increases safety. Volume limit of 82 dB(A), but the user can increase this to 89 dB (A), if they need to communicate in noisy environments - must only be done for short periods. Voice-operated menu and manual control of volume, balance and response to sound amplification. Auto shut-off after 2 hours. Saves last setting, when switched off. Warning tone before switching off and when battery is low. Audio input for radio unit. Microphones with directional hearing.
